Since the film was full of big names like Mia Wasikowska and Dame Judi Dench, it trained a spotlight on this still pleasantly drowsy realm. Still, I'm determined to poke around and check things out that didn't show up on screen.

While the movie Braveheart elicits eye rolls in Scotland for its inaccuracies (and marvel at its impact on tourism), William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, two key characters, are central figures in Scottish history.
In person, Victoria Beckham is skinny. Anna Wintour OBE is even skinnier. At least that was my impression yesterday at the "GREAT" Britain campaign, in which both were featured at Grand Central's 42nd Street subway shuttle.
