Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke handed down the sentence after hearing from one of Hussle’s friends and listening to a letter from Holder’s father that was read in court.

The ceremony took place virtually instead of at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where it was held last year.
The late rapper and community activist was fatally shot on March 31, 2019, outside of his Los Angeles store, Marathon Clothing.
