The problem with government today is that it's gotten "too big and bureaucratic and removed from the human scale," argues Steve Hilton, author of the book More Human and CEO of Crowdpac, a non-partisan organization that informs voters about different political candidates using publicly available data.
Today, citizens "have this really strong sense that someone else, somewhere else, is making the decisions," Hilton says.
