Prosecutors say Lori Vallow Daybell espoused strange doomsday-focused beliefs involving demonic possession to further their alleged plan to kill her kids.
Prosecutors showed graphic photos and described a plot to cast out evil spirits in the triple murder trial of Lori Vallow Daybell on Monday.
The Idaho woman and her husband, Chad Daybell, are charged with murdering her two kids. She's also charged in connection with the death of Chad Daybell’s first wife.

Lori Vallow Daybell, who's accused of conspiring to kill her children, her estranged husband and her lover's wife, refused to enter a plea prompting a judge to do it for her.
The couple is suspected of trying to kill a member of Vallow Daybell’s extended family in 2019, the same year that her husband died and her kids went missing.
His plea came a day after his wife, Lori Vallow-Daybell, was committed to a psychiatric facility for 90 days. She has also been charged with murder.
The so-called doomsday mom was determined to be “not competent to proceed” following an assessment by a clinical psychologist.
The charges against Chad and Lori Daybell follow a nearly two-year investigation that included mentions of zombies, the afterlife and past lives on other planets.
Chad Daybell has pleaded not guilty to charges related to him allegedly hiding the remains of his two step-children on his property.
