Coco Gauff

The 19-year-old tennis star won her first major title against Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus over the weekend.
The Obamas attended Gauff's first comeback of the tournament less than two weeks prior to her title win on Saturday.
She's the youngest American tennis player to win the competition since Serena Williams in 1999.
The two tennis stars continue to publicly share their admiration for each other.
The 19-year-old tennis star ultimately won the match, which was delayed for approximately 50 minutes due to the demonstration.
Coco Gauff has reached her first U.S. Open final by defeating Karolina Muchova 6-4, 7-5 in a match interrupted for 50 minutes by environmental activists.
The two tennis stars memorably shared a heartwarming display of sisterhood at the 2019 U.S. Open.
“When I’m playing tennis, I think about a lot of things outside of tennis,” said the Florida native.
The 19-year-old met with the Obamas shortly after the match and said that she thinks the former first lady was "happy" she spoke up for herself.
"You lose to someone seven times, you feel crappy,” Gauff said.
