One of the men involved in the violent robbery was mistakenly released from custody in April and remains missing.
Ryan Fischer recalled being shot as he tried to prevent the pop star's French bulldogs from being stolen on a Los Angeles street last week.
The suspects escaped after shooting the dog walker and taking two of the singer's dogs.
