The Vallejo, California, police officer was fired last week following an investigation into the June 2020 shooting.
The AG said it was “past time” for the community to “get some answers” on the shooting death of the 22-year-old Latino man by Vallejo police last year.
Responding to reports of looting, a Vallejo police officer shot Sean Monterrosa, who appeared to be surrendering to police when he was killed.
