“Sweet Magnolias” is the most popular show on Netflix, according to the streaming service’s public ranking system. The show is also the most popular offering on Netflix, regardless of format.

This new romantic drama debuted on May 19. “Sweet Magnolias” includes Jamie Lynn Spears and Chris Klein in the cast. The plot focuses on South Carolina families trying to find happiness.

After two weeks in the top spot, the show “Dead to Me” fell to fourth place.

“History 101” is in third place. The show presents surface-level explanations of topics such as fast food. Netflix has a history of allowing questionable documentary-style projects on the platform. Be skeptical of anything you learn from this show. Given the low-budget and lack of advertising (it’s hard to find anything about this show off-platform), it seems like its success comes from the name alone.
